Walkway policy

Council is set to review the Walkway Policy, beginning with a meeting in October to determine the terms of reference.

Over the years, walkways have become a major issue for Council and it is timely to review them - the last time back in 2001.

Since that time, we have received many requests to close them all together or at certain times, almost always based on anti-social behaviour in and around the walkways.
